I've done a lot of business with Joe, and each transaction has been an awesome experience. He always has access to some of the newest and rarest species on the market, often before anyone else does. Joe also takes the time to learn about all the species that he offers and is always willing to share tips on caring for them properly - he truly wants all of his customers to be successful keepers, and will glady share his vast knowledge.

Joe's communication is perfect, as well. We all know how frustrating it can be when dealing with someone that doesn't do a good job of letting you know what's going on clearly or in a timely manner, and that has never been an issue with Joe. He provides updates about my orders before I ever have to ask for them, and he remembers everything - I recently had a question about the lineage of a specimen I got from Joe 2 years ago, so I sent him a message and had the information I needed in 20 minutes. I don't think there are many vendors around that can/would do something like that, and it shows that Joe is a valuable resource for those trying to grow this hobby.

Joe's packaging is always to notch, too. Let's face it - FedEx sometimes struggles to get packages delivered, but I never worry about it when ordering from Joe. He packs his orders so well that even if the shipment takes an extra day or 2 to arrive because FedEx drops the ball, the specimens are always happy and healthy upon delivery.

Joe is a really nice guy with a large catalog of Ts for sale. We did an in person transaction. He communicated well even letting me know he was stuck in traffic so I would know what was up. In fact I overpaid him for the Chaco Golden knee I was purchasing, he could have walked with an extra $10 but he didn't (integrity matters) If you are local to the IE and you are tired of paying $50-$80 for shipping, or if you are concerned about the heat and shipping your spiders Joe is the way to go.

I've mentioned this before, but I don't think it's possible to understate just how impressive Joe's selection is... Just out of curiosity, I counted how many different species Joe has available in his current ad - it was 185 when I checked. 185, think about that! It's practically harder to find a species that you want that he doesn't have... He's also always got many of the newest/rarest/hardest to find species on the market, in addition to all the hobby staples that you'd expect. If there is a species that you want which Joe doesn't have listed currently, just reach out to him and ask about it - he might be able to find it for you or can suggest a great alternative that might work instead.

Joe's shipments are always expertly packaged and the specimens are healthy and alert when unpacked. I never worry about getting unhealthy specimens from Joe, ever!

I wanted to take a minute to recognize Joe for his excellent packaging and the care that he takes with each shipment. The order that I received from Joe last week was unfortunately delayed by FedEx (supposedly due to weather, but who knows). The weather is not exactly warm, so any extended time in transit would be worrisome if this shipment had come from any other vendor. It came from Joe, though, so I was confident that the slings would be fine with an extra day or even 2 in transit, and I was right - upon receiving the package and unpacking, each and every one of the slings was alive, alert, and healthy. One had even molted in the shipping vial and was no worse for the wear!
