Had lots of moults recently as ti's the season but there is one I am particularly excited about.
Alcyone my Chilobrachys sp sai yok has moulted n not only got full adult colours but actually gave me the abdomen with the moult this time n we are a girl! 🥰🥰🥰
Rehouse due soon so hopefully I will be able to get better pictures of her. Till then these gorgeous legs are all I am getting 😆.

Alcyone herself or what I could get lol can see the difference from the leg of the old moult to her amazing colours now.
N girl bits for reference. No dls as she left the abdomen but removed the legs 😆.

Do Chilobrachys sp. Sai Yok's legs turn blue when they reach maturity? I don't know as much about OW species compared to NW, and most of the pics I could find of this species feature a spider whose colors resemble an OBT or T. Blondi. An attractive spider, for sure, but not especially colorful. However, scattered among the photos are occasional shots of a specimen with a similar tan/orange Cephalothorax and abdomen color, but dark blue legs. Is that the same species? If so, I can understand why you're so excited for her to come out and show 'em off.

Two tonight. Rescue Rita, my Grammastola Iheringi has successfully moulted and she is stunning. Inky black. I’m super glad as I knew nothing about her. And my Boehmei has just settled into her hammock.
