1.0 Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens (GBB), roughly 4" DLS. The name is Sprite:

The most elusive in my collection wouldn't let me even see her/him get the pre-killed roach, Lampropelma nigerrimum been in a pre-molt and this morning started to molt.

0.1 Phormingochilus everetti, Jupiter, molted yesterday. She's still in her burrow and all I could see through the little window was a leg and a new, white fang:

Also had another one of my Phormingochilus sp. Sabah red slings molt, but it's being stubborn about letting me take pics. It's red instead of brown now, and the molt measured 1.75" DLS, but it was completely shredded so sexing will have to wait.

I was able to confirm that my most recently molted P. sp. Sabah blue (Alpha) is indeed female:

Just saw that my 0.0.1 Pterinochilus murinus DCF (Mikumi) molted a little while ago, too:

Water dishes make excellent molting platforms! 😆

Yukon, Sericopelma generalum (Fka generalum then generala, then back to generalum, I think...something to do with neuters/feminine of -pelma but I'm no wordsmith)

This girl is going to be a tank. Just a year ago she was a little over 2" and I estimate she was about 6" before she molted. Her last molt was about 4 months ago.

Something tells me I won't be getting measurements on that exuvia anytime soon (her burrow is about 8" long)

Today it was one of my trio of one of my favourite all time sp, thrixopelma ockerti that moulted Orwen the boldest of the 3 🙂 all looks great and even though the moult was chewed I am now putting her down as a sus female 😁 1.7 inches on her moult.

Very chewed but pretty sure those are girly bits. Hate not having my lens anymore.( Still kicking myself for braking it 😒)

Well done little one 👏

Excited to come home to E murinus attempt to push her molt out. Barely seen a toe in a couple weeks now. Looks like she’s put on some size. As her web goes right up to the lid, I’m gonna have to pick that out for her. IMG_1317.jpeg

Today was the day for some of my really pretty T's to molt!

0.1 Hapalopus sp. guerilla, Koko, molted. She's a little over 3" DLS now, and I can't wait to get a good look at her. For now, she's in her cave:

1.0 Cyriocosmus venezuelensis, Vennie, is about 1.25" DLS, and is now a mature male. I didn't realize it until I started looking at these pics more closely. 😆 Beautiful little creature:

Honestly this species is insane, totally love it, 2nd fave species that I have lol
Psalmopoeus are my favourite arboreal genus. I have 6 atm but only 5 different sp (I have 2 pulcher) going from an inch big to 5 inches and there isn't anything I can say bad about them. You can't go wrong with any if the genus, they all have the same growth jumps and the same mad food response, or the sp i have tried have 😊. I do plan on eventually having them all lol.

0.1 Thrixopelma longicolli Thrix molted overnight. I've been waiting for this molt for a while. Complained about it yesterday for the first time, and viola, one newly molted tarantula! 20240127_175758.jpg
She put on quite a bit of size and color too. That blue gets more impressive with every molt!

How big is she now? She looks about the same size as my male, he's around 4" and has become a LOT more sassy since his last molt. Now he tries to wrestle my tongs every single time I need to change his water bowl, which is his favorite place to poop, and therefore requires frequent changes.
