2 exuviae retrieved today. C versi finally threw his down the tunnel into the water dish 6 weeks post molt and E murinus tossed her tiny exuvia out today. She likely molted 7/15. Having lost my last one post molt, I shone a red light down her tunnel and saw the fluffiest little legs poking towards the opening. <3

0.0.1 Euathlus sp. tiger molted this morning:

To put size in perspective, the vial it's in it's about the size of a 1oz condiment cup, maybe a little smaller. It's growing fast, though!

Some moults today:

2.1 Psalmopoeus victori, one that I thought was penultimate but no, still not mature at 5 inches, a big male juvenile, and a big sling I could sex as female.
2.0 Heterothele gabonensis that I did NOT think was penultimate, but oh well! They are tiny.
0.1 Tliltocatl albopilosus, Hillevi, finally moulted in my care. I think she was the subject of the first thread I ever made on AB? She acted extremely odd for several months after I got her but ultimately made it through whatever it was and is now a normal, happy tarantula. Very pleased to have her moult successfully as well.
0.1 Cyriocosmus perezmilesi, my biggest female at 4.5 cm!
0.0.2 Psalmopoeus ecclesiasticus, still too small to say anything definite on sex.
0.1.1 Psalmopoeus reduncus, both slings. one suspected male and one confirmed female.

I think those were all for now. Still have a bunch more in pre-moult. Summertime is amazing! :D

0.0.1 Brachypelma boehmei “Hotfoot” molted last night. Or early this morning, actually. Noticed them flipped over on a molting mat as I was about to go bed and decided to stay up and watch the molt. Glad I did, because it never ceases to fascinate me. They look to have put on a fair bit of size.

Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens. This is my first molt as a keeper, just started keeping tarantulas few days ago, started molting last night, today seems ok but is this leg posture normal? Thanks IMG_3947.jpg IMG_3952.jpg IMG_3962.jpg

After weeks of anticipation, the larger of my Phormingochilus everetti slings molted overnight, and the smaller of my irminia duo molted yesterday; in addition, the largest of my Hati Hati slings tossed its molt yesterday.

My 0.0.1 ~1.5” Pamphobeteus sp. Platyomma sling molted sometime early this morning while I was still asleep and is seen here reclaiming the moisture from its molt. It had been in heavy premolt for the last several days and I had anticipating a molt anytime. I look forward to seeing how much size it has put on.

Phormictopus cancerides male matured, just a couple weeks after my giant female molted. Couldn't be more perfect timing! He's just amazingly colored!
