One of my three Hmac slings molted either yesterday or the day before; the other two shouldn't be too far off now.

Edit: same applies to one of my 0.0.3 Taksinus bambus slings, one of which molted yesterday.

About 9:00pm tonight I was checking on the T's when I had to do a double take - something was definitely strange! It was my juvenile male Brachypelma boehmei, and he had begun the fabled upright molt...

I left him alone, anxious about his chances of success - I mean, some of his legs were bent at impossibly awkward angles, so how was he going to manage to get out? I checked back on him about an hour later to find he had indeed managed, but the show wasn't over:

I left him alone again, preaching patience to myself (and to the curious neighbors that were watching):

Another hour later and it was time for the big reveal - had he managed it? Yes, he sure had! And with flying colors, if I do say so myself...

Thanks for watching this episode of 'Molting Adventures' - be sure to tune in for the next episode, coming soon! 😁

Ignatia (0.1 B. horrida) molted today. Her temperament did a complete 180 after this molt. She's now very feisty, and kicked a flurry of hairs as I opened the lid to her enclosure. IMG_20230520_142753058~2.jpg

My Acanthoscurria geniculata molted today! I can’t wait to take a peek tomorrow morning! View attachment 445503
All hail 🙌

Can't believe I missed 3 idk y but I am not getting notifications ppl have posted on this thread any more 🤷‍♀️

Now I have fixed that,
My homoeomma peruvianum Fizzgig moulted yesterday, lived on the surface for the past year but for whatever reason decided to burrow for this moult and pushed the moult to the bottom of the burrow so still suspect male n not the best pic because of where he put the burrow but well done Fizzgig 😊👏 20230520_122326.jpg

My MF Aphonopelma sp Michoacan appears to have molted last night. She's been in premolt since I received her in February, so I've been looking forward to this for awhile lol. She'll probably get a photo session once she hardens up and gets back on the feedbag.

My AF P. cancerides flipped at 2100.
No movement at 0430. I felt concern.
0730 was flipped upright. Yea!
She is approximately 10 yrs.

What are you talking about?! It doubled in size - if it keeps growing at that rate it'll be as big as a stirmi in no time!
