No pics yet, but my Hapalopus sp. guerilla sling finally molted today. It's growing up - previous molt cycles were no longer than 45 days, give or take, but this time it was 160 days (buried for the last 95 days)! I hope it at least grew a little bit after all that time. 😂
This H. sp. guerilla still hasn't come out for pics, but I got the molt and confirmed it's female!

Took a ten day vacation and came back to find my Chilobrachys sp. "electric blue" molted and so did my 4" female regalis, 3" male irminia, and my 2.5" female P. ecclesiasticus.

I"m pretty stoked. When I went to water and check Ts this morning I found my H. Orellanai had molted for the third time (in 10 months) in my care. This little one has a long way to go. Of the three I purchased back in March last year one randomly dies two weeks after delivery. All three were kept the same and seemed to be doing well . Then I lost a second one, and the largest to a bad molt about 6 weeks ago. So needless to say I reeeeally want this one to do well.
my other GBB also molted . 20230116_124136.jpg 20230116_123821.jpg

That's why I love C. cyaneopubescens.
It's a new tarantula with each molt. At least until it's final adult colors are reached.
Congrats on the new spider.

I just missed my B.hamorii molting by minutes.I got home from work to find this fresh spiderling. I got him/her at the end of November and this was their first molt with me.😊 (Sorry for the terrible quality picture I didn't want to disturb.)

Looks like my molt confirmed male Hati Hati transitioned on me. I need to keep her away from mainstream media 🤣

Well she moulted, naturally she waited till I went to bed but what a sight to get up to 🥰 i didnt expect her to be so dark 1000004280.jpg
With light 1000004277.jpg
With out
She does appear to have 2 marks on her abdomen but apart from that all looks good. Still can't believe after having her 18 months and a year not eating she finally moulted... Will be so strange seeing her take food again in a few weeks once she's hardened, she's literally been a rock since I got her 😆

ps.The huge cream thing next to her is her turtle shell water dish that was ment to be a hide but I thought made a better water dish in her desert themed enclosure, just before anyone asks what it is 😆

My gbb sling molted. I had to do an emergency intervention. One of its legs got stuck. So I got a straw that had water that I was holding in place with a finger then put the straw over the leg where it was stuck without disturbing it and it pulled the liddo leg just a teeny bit and no leg losses. I hope it will be fine 🥺
