My h.maculata came out last night looking more like the adult colors! I hope to be able to pull the molt for a sex id but it is in the burrow..that he/she is always in or near haha.

If you still have the moult it's far more reliable to sex your T with that.My older B. hamorii molted a couple of days ago (naturally on his feet rather than on his back). He seems to be old enough now to properly sex using the ventral technique
I’ll have to look at that. Unfortunately with this molt, he kind of messed with it and won’t leave it alone lol. It’s like his/her pet or something. But I hope that I can get a good molt next time. Try to get that moult. You'd be surprised what it's sometimes left even when it appears to be totally torn apart. You just need patience and a steady hand to unfold it.I’ll have to look at that.
