P. subfusca Lowland. Picture says it all, love the deeper blacks, for me it makes a metallica look plain Jane and Pokies are large impressive T's generally.

Mine is any of the Psalmopoeus Genus. Simply an amazing Genus.

I don't even have one and I pick C. versicolor. I'm a fan of the clown-coloured spiders and this species wears a perpetual glam rock clown suit.

I really love my Avicularia avicularia M6, but I also adore my Psalmopoeus cambridgei. It's probably a toss up between those two.

Wow, that's a beautiful spider. I've never heard of that species, but it's gorgeous!
They were formerly known as Tapinauchenius sp. Union Island and T. sp. Caribbean Diamond. Their proper name was given to the species semi-recently.

She is calm, but that's not necessarily true for all members of this species. Very fast, grow fast, good eaters. She's pretty long in her moult cycle and colours are even pretty faded at the moment. When fresh, the purples and greens are much more vibrant.

Can't beat a Caribena versicolor, great looks and very manageable animal, if not even docile

My favorite is the P. ornata since it's my all time favorite T. but I would also add C. versicolor as well since they never disappoint.

I actually haven't liked arboreals much because my Avic avic has caused me no shortage of stress, but I love my A minatrix, so I guess that one. It's an awesome little puppy <3

A. avic. Cute, docile, out more often than not.

I haven't seen my C. versicolor since the summer. Ever since that molt, it's been a pet web. I don't even see it come out at night when I'm checking on the others. If it was not hiding 100% of the time, it might have been a contender.

I'd be hard-pressed to choose a favorite, but of the ones I am keeping right now, it's a toss-up between Psalmopoeus cambridgei and Avicularia avicularia.

The cam is a big, goofy spider that eats well.

The Avics are just cute and stubborn.

I also have a juvenile Psalmopoeus irminia, a Caribena versicolor sling, and a Poecilotheria regalis sling. We'll see if one of those takes the top spot as it grows. (The irminia and the regalis both have an over-the-top feeding response that is almost comical.)

I gave likes to the P. ornata submissions above, as my girl is also very cool in all the stated respects. BUT!!! My favorite arboreal (and overall T) is H. maculata. They do nothing but exude unadulterated awesomeness.

Avicularia variegata - Basically what would happen if you custom built an Avic out of all the best features of the rest of the genus.

Caribena versicolor - Great eaters, go through so many cool colour changes as they grow, and they're just so much fun to raise.

Psalmopoeus irminia - The species that got me hooked on the genus and still my favourite, just bloody look at it.

Can't choose. Poecilotheria ornata, Caribena versicolor, H.mac, Poecilotheria subfusca lowland and Poecilotheria tigrinawesseli. @The Grym Reaper's P. irminia always makes me jealous.

Omothymus violaceopes (also my favourite overall tarantula). I'll post some pics later tonight, although I don't think any picture I've seen does them justice.
