It would benefit from stabilization but given Canon's announcement they are not making any new EF lenses, all the R&D is going to the mirrorless line, looks like that's not going to happen.
I think this is a male, based on behavior. It was out once a month before, and only ever for a few minutes. Then it molted (destroyed the molt) and since then its out and about all day, roaming, climbing, not shy at all anymore.
Only 1.5 inches and in bloated premolt so could be false advertising. Could have sworn I saw one lobe of spermatheca under the microscope last molt but I don't want to get my hopes up. Love the look of this species. One of the top 5 most beautiful t's in the hobby imo
