Hello all! I am thinking for the future here and I’m currently really deep into creating my own enclosures. I made one with ventilation holes in the shape of a tiny yang with a little Kunai knife as the door lock recently and now I reallllly want to make 2 enclosures with the vent holes looking like yin and the other like yang and spiders to match accordingly. It would be top tier!!!!

The whitest tarantula is definitely Heteroscodra maculata. However it's not a good tarantula for beginers, so be careful if you don't have some experience on tarantulas.

Some other tarantulas with white zones are:
- Nhandu chromatus have white bands in their legs, and white cephalothorax
- Poecilotheria tigrinawesseli and regalis (other poecilotheria are also more or less white)
- Haplocosmia himalayana also have kind of white bands in their legs, but I never had one so I'm not sure if they really look that white

I am quite new still with 5 tarantulas, 3 of which were from petsmart. But one is a P. Regalis and the other is the P. Irminia, both of which seem pleased. I tend to all of them as needed morning and night :) thank you for the help!

In support of the Yin and Yang!

☯Thirty spokes share the wheels hub;
It is the center hole that makes it useful.
Shape clay into a vessel;
It is the space within that makes it useful.
cut doors and windows for a room;
It is the holes which make it useful.
Therefor gain comes from what is there,
Usefulness comes from what is not☯

Gratefully,

H mac - good luck with this secretive species. I owned one, never again.
Once my female passed juvie size I started seeing her out almost daily unless she's in pre-moult.

There's always a fluke. Lucky you, I bought it based on the color as mine, she was fairly white. It was gorgeous...then poof into her home.

the N. coloratovillosus I think has the most white in comparison to A geniculate and N Chromatus
