no, i did not i listed my overall experiences which inform my perspectives and practices by stating that the majority of my time in arachnid keeping has been spent working with OW arachnids, both scorpions *and* tarantulas - the purpose of which was to signal that everything i do is designed to limit contact between keeper and the animal and be as least disturbing/stressful to said animal and that the reason for this is because of the venom levels, speed, temperaments, unpredictability, etc that is characteristic of OW species

contextually contrasting myself with that of keepers who specialize in NW species who’s perspective, experiences and practices may differ from my own because of this
This is seriously like talking to someone who is in the middle of a filibuster or something. Let's try this one more time, and see if you can stay on topic.

To the best of our knowledge, has anyone ever died from a tarantula bite alone?

You may only answer yes or no. GO!

your inability to read does not mean i haven’t followed the exchange adequately or been on topic - I’ve also acknowledged tangential points as they’ve happened - i’m not sure why you’re choosing to make things up at this point

also! re: “no documented deaths” - there is a difference between saying “no one on planet earth in the entire history of humanity has ever died from tarantula bite” and “there hasn’t been a documented case of tarantula envenomation leading to a fatal outcome yet since we’ve begun documenting such things” and i don’t think it’s entirely out of the question

i know it’s everyone’s favorite security blanket and marketing pitch but the idea that tarantula venom could never be lethally toxic to humans is silly
