It’s only exoskeletonoh god, this looks so wrong
My sickness for bizarre Ts will never be satisfied now .. after seeing this gemIt’s only exoskeleton![]()
I’m pretty happy with what I have right now also. But I’m still addicted too getting more .. I have a definite wishlist those 10 I listed I don’t have any of . After removing 2 I was going to buy more of anyways .I'm at the point where I don't have a single T on the wishlist because I bought all the ones I was really interested in (NW terrestrials, primarily.) In a few years, maybe there will be new ones that pop up that look enticing. Can't rule that out, as they are still discovering new species.
Pet rocks yeah I don’t like that term , tarantulas are sit and wait ambush predators only males who wander actively hunt and leave a burrow right ?maybe a hungry female who’s burrow got destroyed would wander . It’s true they don’t move around alot even ow in my experience. I agreee these so called Pet rocks are some of my favorites also. It's interesting how things can change over time... and others don't. I'm still aiming for a reasonable cap of 10 species and the more I think of it, the more I'm inclined to just stick with the basic genera since they'd all be relatively easy to handle with little to no risk of escape.
Aphonopelma chalcodes
Aphonopelma hentzi
Brachypelma emilia
Brachypelma klaasi
Grammostola pulchra
Tliltocatl vagans
There we go. Call me boring if you want, but I must admit I love these "Pet Rocks". They're often quite beautiful, out and about and females have lengthy lifespans. All positives for me.
I've never heard of this, what genus is it from? What does it look like?
In fact my list has changed as I'd probably change a few:I'm gonna add Sericopelma Sp Santa Catalina to my list![]()
