I’ve wanted a p murinus for quite some time, but I’m holding off on them as well as poecilotheria and theraposa species because even though I keep a good amount of Ts, I still don’t consider myself an advanced keeper. I figure I’ll give those a few years although I would really love to have them. I have been looking for C. versicolor but no vendors that I usually buy from have had any recently.

edit:Encyocratella olivacea are stunning! I had never heard of them until now. I love the look of them though. This is definitely one I’ll be on the lookout for thank you!

I have been looking through them too. I haven’t bought from any yet but I have been wanting to. I did see a few have versis as well as C. darlingi which I’ve been wanting as well.

I actually just bought a C. darlingi off the classifieds like....two weeks ago, maybe?
Couldn't be happier, totally smooth transaction and a happy healthy spider.

I just love their cute little horns. Such a unique T. I like the marshalli too but I like the name of darlingi 🤣

If you ever decide to breed P. cambridgei, I have an immature male right now. I do need to pick up another sling in hopes of a female. Psalmopoeus is great! I aspire to have every psalmopoeus species available in the hobby at some point.

P. cam is one of those species I have no real desire to breed, more just own (which I don't currently). I appreciate the offer nonetheless and I'm sure you won't have any trouble finding him a girl when the time is right. The majority of the ones I want to breed are pretty uncommon and I want to help boost the captive populations and drop prices to take the collection pressure off the wild populations. Life goals lol.

I’ll be on the lookout for when you have those avicularia purpurea. Those are gorgeous!

Metallica hasn’t been a valid species name for years!

Google the Avic revision to learn its new name.

Is it Ybyrapora gamba? I didn’t know about it and it was sold to me as A. metallica. My bad.
Edit: all I’m seeing is Nomen dubium. If you could link me the information I’m missing that would be a great deal more helpful than being slightly condescending.

M robustum is an amazing and unique species! I had one a while back who unfortunately passed due to unknown causes. That’s the only T I ever lost and I believe it was wild caught as I got it from a pet store. I’d love to find some CB specimens. They don’t seem to be a popular one with vendors, at least not at the moment.

I had one for a while too that died of unknown causes. I rarely lose T’s but the few that I have I could usually pinpoint where I went wrong, not this one though. It molted once in my care and was doing fine, then it’s health just declined. I know of someone who has them for sale if you pm me

Here’s the ones I picked!
Pseudoclamoris gigas
Neoholothele incei
Psalmopoeus reduncus
Ceratogyrus marshalli
Psalmopoeus cambridgei (since my first one turned out male)

im curious on peoples experiences with the P. gigas as I’m having trouble finding things on it. I’ve read so far that it is similar in care to Psalmopoeus. Possibly being a little more moisture dependent. Been eyeing them for a while and I had to grab one when I saw they were on sale 😊 The N.incei will be my first dwarf! Very excited for that.

Mine also passed shortly after molting. After it had, I pulled the molt just to sex it out of curiosity, and it was a female too 😞 I will probably try to grab a couple of them in a few months, too bad I didn’t see this sooner because I just grabbed 5 Ts. But If they’re still there when the time comes around for me to add a few more, I’ll hit you up!

I think I heard of that app before but I’m not sure what exactly it’s for. Would you mind explaining it a bit?
