Very active T- should I worry?

Hi everyone! I know I’m nitpicky when it comes to small things but ive noticed my Avic being very active. Ts are supposed to be very chill and rest in their web, my T likes to eat constantly. She’s almost always on the hunt and only once a day or every two days will she rest in her web. I feed her every 4-5 days and she’s rather plump. I would think there is something wrong but it isn’t wandering along the walls or outside, she is climbing all along the cork bark and interior. Substrate seems fine, tho I will have to change it out every year, due to the crowded enclosure and I can’t spot clean well.
Just a very hungry, active T, right?

I think you're either overly worried or overdoing it. How long have you had it? If you got fairly recent, then it will take time to settle in.

She may be getting ready to find a nice place to make a web mat to ready for a molt. Sounds ok though, I wouldn't worry just yet.😁 BTW that's an awesome profile name, both cute and hilarious, I love it! I wish I had thought of something as clever for mine. I just noticed your enclosed doesn't have much web action so she could also be getting ready to start webbing up the place. Most pinktoes like to have lots of webbing and web tunnels that end up Verrry thick and mine specifically webbing more when I feed less often so she could be looking for more food to put on weight before a molt or just has more energy right now as sometimes T's change behavior a little during weather change. I know where I live it's getting cooler in the day and starting to get cold at night again so maybe it's that. I find my Avic in about 3000 different places throughout the day 😆 and rarely sits in one place for too long then it's off to another spot. They are tree spiders after all so exploring is only natural. In nature they are known to wander from tree to tree.

I’d have to disagree with that claim.

A little over a minute or two, if not four to five minutes of feeding, watching, observing are just a fraction of tarantulas daily activities. Things tarantulas do, achieve while keepers are away, are beyond most expectations.

i doubt yours is as hungry as you think its normal for ts to eat every chance they can. its what they do eat as much as they can until they get full enough to get into premolt. some greedy ones will still eat right before they molt.not a good idea to feed when a t is in pre molt though

Where’s the leaves? Avics need leaves up top to build web tunnels in.

Look up videos on YouTube they can be pretty informative but look at quite a few because different people have different experiences and I would look to To. Moran videos he's very knowledgeable and keeps over 300 T's himself and has a blog where he takes care of sooo many curious keepers that have questions and beware their venom potency as they are one of the most venomous if not the most venomous (medically significant)in the world. I have a 1- 1/4 inch P. Metallica and I love her but she scares me 😆, not really but I fear her venom as the affects can last for several months and will very likely put a person in the hospital and depending on rare reactions can lead to death.

Add some silk plants in that provides cover up high and around it's hide.
Mine sits out all the time. In and out of her hide doing spider stuff. Has never been on the substrate her water dish is also fixed high up. That you consider a strong feeding response could also be a reaction it has because it's not feeling as secure as it would prefer.

OP has an Avic, not a Poecilotheria. They are not the most venomous. Random YouTube videos are the worst place to look for info as a large number of them have no clue what they are doing or are just in it for the hits and shock value. Tom Moran is a reputable keeper, as is Dave’s Beasties. I don’t know of any others many people would agree are.

Your enclosure isnt set up completely optimally I suggest you add fake plant cover in the upper 25-30% of that piece of wood/bark such as this:

One could say that about almost any substance about anyone.

That’s a highly misleading claim, no recorded deaths yet.
I heard stories of people drinking water too much and dying. Or even milk 🥛.
So few people own pokies or old worlds , even less people get bitten by them.
bees I’d say are more dangerous because there everywhere and lots Of people are allergic. Even then they are being eradicated by pesticides.

Not stories- you can die of drinking too much water it’s a fact
