Ya know it’s funny, I was at Walmart the other day and happened to walk through the aisle that had those. I chuckled when I thought of you filling them all with spiders. There MAY not be any more Mainstay containers at the Walmarts within a 40 mile radius of me.....

These will mostly all be filled up with spiders soon as well lol. Got a lot of growouts ready to get upgraded from 5.5 oz delis.Ya know it’s funny, I was at Walmart the other day and happened to walk through the aisle that had those. I chuckled when I thought of you filling them all with spiders.

She had been in pre-molt a while behind her dirt curtain, decided to check on her, wasn't in death curl but non responsive to stimuli, gave it a day, checked again, same as before. Removed her from the enclosure, not good. Cephalothorax partially molted, everything else seemed like a failure. Was one of my favorite T's, had her since sling, felt she only had a molt or two until mature. Shamefully part of the hobby we love and enjoy.
My deepest condolences. :.-(P. irminia failed molt

Today, I will be mixing substrate and maybe, just maybe, finally moving some Ts around. We shall see.
I will go ahead and report before it happens, because I know it will, Murderbaby (unofficial name) will be murdering water again today. Potentially a cockroach. Who am I kidding? That beautiful little thing will murder the heck out of anything that goes in there.

Today's menu is 104 male lateralis and 16 male dubia (plus 118 small lats that were already fed off).
In theory, sure. In practice, usually means more of a mess to clean up lol. Still though, it preserves the viability of the feeder colonies (and makes sure I don't have any ootheca laid in an enclosure). All the wings add extra crunch!
I've sat and listened to many horses crunch grain. I've also had the pleasure to hear a spider crunch it's meal. All the wings add extra crunch!
Meh.. probably a hairy leg. Most likely a squirrel.P. Irminia sling finally threw out its molt for me. Something tells me I'm gonna have to wait a bit longer to try to determine male or female on this one... View attachment 459637
