It makes them simultaneously both easy to work with and annoyingly difficult at the same time. Like it's easy to cup them without worrying about bolts, but it can be ridiculously difficult getting them back out of said catch cup. Pro tip, use bamboo skewers or other non metal instruments as prodding tools, because whatever you'll try to use WILL be bitten.
