Theraphosinae sp. Casanare and Euathlus pulcherrimaklaasi care.

Does anyone know how to care for them? From what I've gathered they're both terrestrial and max out at or under 5". What I don't understand are their "humidity" requirements. I'm assuming I keep the Theraphosinae sp. Casanare damp and the Euathlus pulcherrimaklaasi dry, but I want some confirmation in case these guys are outliers in their genus.

Bottom line: It's better to go by Euathlus sp. "blue" instead of Euathlus pulcherrimaklaasi. I'm certain that particular T will be reclassified entirely in time. I still do have my AF and keep 3 slings of the species. Two of which seem to be males and the last one female.

Carewise keep them dry, good sized waterdish that should be overflowed while refilling. If the substrate is too damp, they'll climb the walls like a Grammy.

Euathlus pulcherrimaklaasi

I have two slings, both eat really well.
Since there is little no information on this species I have a feeling we are keeping them wrong.
Mine climb a lot and rarely touch the substrate, never use hides, skittish when they bolt they will go out the enclosure.
They also have a habit of chucking substrate into the dish.

I have two slings, both eat really well.
Since there is little no information on this species I have a feeling we are keeping them wrong.

Sounds perfectly normal to me. Mine do the same. They mellow out the bigger they get - but they are skittish to a degree. That's just something you'll have to accept. My AF isn't that much really, but she dislikes water - at least when I overflow the waterdish. An hour later, she always sits on the moist spot...so go figure
