Makes any of my spider and T fangs look like little splinters! That fang must measure one of my slings!

Wonder if she beats the one shown on BBC News..

I took this picture of my T. blondi last night while she was eating a super worm and WOW... I got REAL lucky with the shot. It came out amazing!

Samus.JPG

Her name is Samus. And I get asked if she is a real T. blondi and not just a stirmi. She is definitely a T. blondi! The hairs on her legs and abdomen are REALLY long! I wish I could capture that on camera but it's rather difficult haha

Beautiful picture. Though the length of the hairs has nothing to do with it being stirmi or blondi. Although hard to say out of the photo it's still looks like T. stirmi to me. I don't see any long hairs on the patella

Really? Some people say that's how to tell, the long hairs and all. In the picture, it doesn't look like she has long hairs at all but she does. Also, she was captive bred and I got her from a breeder who bred her parents and blahblahblah lol You know the rest! Of course, even breeders can be wrong. The picture doesn't show just how long her hairs are, which is a bit of a disappointment, but even if she is a Stirmi instead, I doubt that would change much of how I take care of her, yea?

Hey! Thank you! She's about a year old and... If I have to guess... 6 inches, maybe?? My G. rosea is 4 inches and Samus is already much bigger than she is! The super worms that I give her are pretty large, I'd say. They aren't hormonally messed with, though, so their size is all natural. I would just get normal super worms and judge for yourself if they look big enough. Samus molted recently, a few months ago, and her abdomen is still small so I've been feeding her the largest super worm I can get every friday to help plump her up!
