I just caught my blondi at the right moment, when she was leaving her hide to get rid of the foodremains from the dubia she got early`r.

The pile of earth in front of her hide and in the waterdish, is from a few days ago, when she was digging out her hide.
Think her butt got to big to fit the old hide, and she therefore had to do something :D

Well...i just wanted 2 share this vid with u guys.
Hope u like it....and here we go....

One of the reasons I love T's so much, I have never seen a dog or cat clean up their mess.

I had a dog once that would crap on the floor and turn around and eat it. Does that count. {D Nice video. My rosea is about the only one I ever catch doing that.

aaannd of course it goes straight into the water dish (at least thats what it looked like). I'm pretty sure they aim for it.

U are actually SPOT on Sir ;)
I have tryed to move the waterdish from the left side of the cage to the right.
But the Blondi will only put the trash in the waterdish.
So that tells me it is thinking in some way, or maybe has some kind of instincts that tells it to put the trash in a specific place as a priority.

In my video there is no water in the dish because the earth has suck it all dry.
But otherwice the Blondi ALWAYS puts the remains in the water and cleans its fangs in the water afterwards, just as u see it tries 2 do in the video.
But when there is no water in the dish as in my video, it suddenly put its remains on the otherside of the waterdish, as far away from the hide as possible.
In the wild i can see why it would seek a watersource to put the trash.
Because mites cant get the remains if its in the water and if we imagine the spider live next to a river, as it would do in many cases, then the remains would wash away

Thats why these spiders keeps amazing me!

Here is a new video i shot today.
This one shows what happens when the waterdish is full.
Its funny to see how the spider reacts to different types of environments in different ways.
Sry about this vid is so much out of focus.

My blondi just resently moltet and have just finished eating its first roach (dubia male) At first she goes for the waterdish were she use 2 leave her waste, but then gets second thoughts and tries 2 find another place 4 it in the cave. That isent the best choice and she then returns 2 the dish :) Pay attention 2 the way she retreats back in the cave!!...its just like seing Sheloob from LOTR when she has 2 leave Frodo after the fight with Sam...it just striked me as being a little funny :D
