T.I.T.T.I.E.S. West Texas Trip 2008

Just to throw it out there - I haven't decided on the night of the 24th or the morning of the 25th for flying in yet, but if someone needs to fly in either of those times and needs a ride from the airport to Ft. Davis, let me know and I can go either way.

I know there will be a caravan from the airport earlier in the day on the 24th, but since I'll be coming in after that and renting a car anyway, I'm more than willing to provide a ride if someone needs it.

I am going to leave it up in the air for another couple weeks and then book the tickets, so there's still time for those that aren't sure yet.

Wonder what you're mom did to make you that mad! For me it's the complete opposite, my mom wouldn't want to go! LMAO! She's such a chicken when it comes to insects and their kin.

I keep telling her you don't have hold them or do anything but she's like "when you're 18 go to what ever bug meeting you want....just don't expect me to be there.....and don't bring anything home unless they're butterflies."

When will she ever learn? *Shakes head*

Jared and I just got back from Del Rio where we were doing the last little bit of planning for the trip. I thought I would share some pictures of the places we are going.

This is the public "beach" at Lake Amistad, where we are going to spend some time. Its a great spot for a picnic, and the water is unbelieveable! I seriously cannot wait to go swimming there! I almost dove in with my clothes on when we were there, it was that nice.

Here are some pics of Seminole Canyon State Park where we will stop on Thursday. Its an incredibly gorgeous area, and I cant wait for people to see it.

Weeee! Mike and I are at PDX for our first flight in one hour. I've never flown before... So this is a REAL adventure for me. Excited... Nah, not all. Honestly I've been so excited I have hardly slept in days.

I brought a present for the 21 and over crowd... But there's only 3 bottles left. I just couldn't help myself. I hope they make it through.

I just got home from the Titties event. It was a very good time. Good to meet the folks who all came down. West Texas is beautiful. Lots of touring, spiders, scorps, and much more. I'm sure there will be many pics as people get back to their home bases.
