SF Bay Area Tarantula Meeting April 12th

Everyone give arachnocat Props for the flier! Lets try and make this our biggest turn out ever. We will be putting out about 200 fliers to local places and if anyone else has a pet shop local to you please print and put up a flier. Scott from Scotts tarantulas is comming this time and insectgeeks.com is sponsoring the event, helping to pay for the place we are hosting it at. The place is a lot bigger and even has a kitchen with a fridge!

Fyi

Less than 18 days until our meeting !
Time: 11- 3:00
We need the following things for the meeting:
2 long tables
snack food and desserts
drinks
paper cups
paper towels for clean-up
name tags and sharpie pen
paper slips for our drawing
lots of donated items for the FREE drawings

Food: We'll probably order pizza, it seemed to work last time for us.

What to bring (Food): drinks, veggie platter,chips/dip and paper plates & cups
What to bring(Inverts) of any kind: roaches to be securely contained. Please bring your inverts to trade, sell or show.
What not to bring alcohol, drugs or bad attitudes. We want to maintain an atmosphere that would be family friendly.

Here are some possiblities that we will be doing during this meeting.
Guest speakers on different topics. Breeding demos, sexing and other topics
Free drawings, like last time. This one is for sure. If you have anything that you want to put in for the drawing , please do. We want everyone to get at least 1 free drawing
Handling demos, if we think it would benefit somebody.

The shirts of Matt's are embroidered
By Hand, EVEN! Imagine !

And (shamelessly plugging them) They are available in blue, green, grey, plack, purple and orange. In sizes from (European) 42, 44, 48 and I *think* 50.

You can expect some shirts in the drawing! (Well, yeah, we had to draw it prior to embroidery!) {D
