P. irminia "Spunk" made a lovely butt window in its new front porch:

To be fair, it has a lovely butt. 🤷

Meanwhile, next door...
"Be honest with me, does this hide make my butt look big?"

No hon, your butt makes your butt look big. And no, I'm not going to touch your water dish.

Suspected 0.1.0 Acanthoscurria geniculata “Squeaky” showing a large bald patch on her butt. I only noticed it two days ago, so she must have kicked off a whole lot of urticaring setae around her enclosure.
She has only ever kicked at me once, when I first rehoused her after receiving her as a 1” sling. A very well behaved girl. She got her name from how often I see her grooming. It is short for “squeaky clean.”

When this girl finally decides to molt, I suspect she'll put on some decent size 🤣🤣🤣

My Nhandu tripepii sling’s butt as it hides from me in its little burrow while I water and perform maintenance on its enclosure.
It actually kicked hair at me for the first time. A single half-hearted kick, but I think it got me because my left hand was close at the time and itched ever so slightly afterwards. Got to be more careful next time.

Video of AF T blondi stroking her butt (night time footage from camera mounted in her tank)

That is just too adorable. I had to watch the video several times over to fully appreciate it.
My genic Squeaky does that when she is grooming as well, only it’s more of a quick brushing motion. Still cute though.

:astonished:

There’s enough floof there to rival a Tliltocatl albopilosus! Definitely a species I hope to get someday, as well as Grammostola actaeon. Both very hard to find here in Canada though.

I can't see you therefore you can't see me! Sound tarantula logic.
