I guess not...
Patience friend! I missed your question until now!

They are simply 5L cereal containers. The back "hide" portion has black plastic on the outside to keep the light out. They're not pretty, but they do the job very well IMO!

P.subfusca juvenile female
stunning.. I think Im going back to collecting instead of selling. Ive sold sooo many P. subfuscas lately and havent kept any back for myself. And thats horrible considering they are my all time favorite T. I should have at least 10 of them in my personal collection.
thanks for the great pic and arachno-awakening!

He he! Thanks for the response Eric.

This a great concept... more pictures would be cool!

In any case, they certainly are doing the job remarkably well - hats off!

I've been having really good luck getting Poecilotheria eggsacs using these setups. It's not my concept though, I decide to try them out after reading Ray Gabriel's article on these setups in BTS Journal 21-4. I'll try and show some other photos later.

That is one of if not the best piicture of a rufilata I have ever seen. Stunning! I can't wait for my slings to get big. I had one almost mature years ago that matured into a male. Hope 1 of the 3 I have is a girl. Beautiful picture. I'd love to see more. Have you bred her? Can't wait for your Pokie slings to go on sale! I want some! :)

Nice, How big is she? and is that pink sheen on her just her natural colouring?

Eric~ Your pics have the most amazing way of bringing out all those stunning colors!

I always thought the Rufilata was shades of Green... I've never seen one so I have no idea!

Beautiful girl you have there!

Hi gigas

Nice, How big is she?
She's the largest spider I have in reference to legspan, but I'm not sure the measurement... I'll have to check.

and is that pink sheen on her just her natural colouring?
Well, that "pink sheen" is "natural" in a number of Poecilotheria, but it is exaggerated somewhat by the camera flash. It's not as noticeable in natural light.

Funny this came up, I took a pic of one outside yesterday.

Using a LED light will really bring out that pink.
