stunning.. I think Im going back to collecting instead of selling. Ive sold sooo many P. subfuscas lately and havent kept any back for myself. And thats horrible considering they are my all time favorite T. I should have at least 10 of them in my personal collection.P.subfusca juvenile female
He he! Thanks for the response Eric.Patience friend! I missed your question until now!
They are simply 5L cereal containers. The back "hide" portion has black plastic on the outside to keep the light out. They're not pretty, but they do the job very well IMO!

I've been having really good luck getting Poecilotheria eggsacs using these setups. It's not my concept though, I decide to try them out after reading Ray Gabriel's article on these setups in BTS Journal 21-4. I'll try and show some other photos later. He he! Thanks for the response Eric.
This a great concept... more pictures would be cool!
In any case, they certainly are doing the job remarkably well - hats off!
Cheers,
Emmanuel
She's the largest spider I have in reference to legspan, but I'm not sure the measurement... I'll have to check.Nice, How big is she?
Well, that "pink sheen" is "natural" in a number of Poecilotheria, but it is exaggerated somewhat by the camera flash. It's not as noticeable in natural light.and is that pink sheen on her just her natural colouring?
Funny this came up, I took a pic of one outside yesterday.Well, that "pink sheen" is "natural" in a number of Poecilotheria, but it is exaggerated somewhat by the camera flash. It's not as noticeable in natural light.
Using a LED light will really bring out that pink.GoTerps said:Well, that "pink sheen" is "natural" in a number of Poecilotheria, but it is exaggerated somewhat by the camera flash. It's not as noticeable in natural light.
If I knew my ornata would look the same, I'd have bought some long time ago. :worship:Poecilotheria pederseni female w/ babies
