Not really. Well ok maybe.

propylene glycol and triethylene glycol

Are both used in vaping products. When you buy the THC Vaping products, you are buying a glycol. Most likely propylene, but triethylene is used in fog machine and to suspend heavy chemicals. When you see the person vape out a large amount of smoke most likely it is triethylene instead of propylene.
Both will leave you with a nasty case of vaping lung.

They are slightly better then normal smoking, but will destroy your lungs with heavy use.
