This was yesterday btw..
Yeah so in heavy pre-molt, has he stopped dropping boluses into it's water? I noticed it's drinking, so I'm assuming it's stopped doing this. He'll be a big lad when fully mature, my LP was 6"+ and wasn't hooked out. How big is he at the moment?

As far as I know, he's never come out of that burrow once he made it. I checked the water regularly, crystal clear. Never a bolus or fragment of dirt. When he ate post burrow, it was in the burrow.

I measured him at 5.5" when I got him about a month ago. Would that put him at around a year old?

Unless you raised it from the day it hatched then there's no way to know how old it is, growth rate is affected by so many different factors (temps/feed frequency/sex/the individual to name but a few).

One of yours did keep leaving boluses in its water dish though, I remember answering a question you asked regarding the subject, oh well doesn't really matter as long as he's drinking clean fresh water now.;)
