Yes, for C. versicolor it will have both hooks and bulbous palps. So it shouldn't be hard at all to spot a MM C. versicolor.

All MMs, regardless of species, have one main thing in common, that is emboli....these are the male reproductuve organs and only show up on the ultimate molt....that is, its maturing molt.

They are little, often red, bulbs at the ends of the palps. This is an obvious example.

This species has tibial hooks (not all species do) and all species will have emboli (this is the first thing I look for).

MM versi arent always obvious....they actually look really nice.

They're bloody stunning tbf.
