He's still not mature. I expect him to mature in the next 1-2 molts. I've had him since April of 2005 and so far he's molted 7 times in my care (I've had him from about 0.25" - 0.5".

Purchased as Hysterocrates gigas and have raised it from a 0.5" spiderling.

I've found the female very unaggressive towards the male. He will push her around in her burrow, even after mating, and just hang out in her web.

1 of my new girls.They are both 12yrs+ and was bought as slings of H.hercules but obviously they aint so now just labelled Hysterocrates sp. as im not sure what they are.

some communal shots (temporary holding tank while i sell)











at night everyone is out wondering around, but most of them started hiding when i started taking shots you can see some of their butt sticking out of the burrows.
