I guess seeing this thread was enough to get me to clean my girl's enclosure. Heres a couple of pics now that she is finally out of her tunnel, all I ever see is the garbage she puts out after meals lol. She is about 7".

Just want to point out that she is NOT in the process of molting..........it's just her b*tchyness. ;P

Would you give this a hug? :D

Oh man... too bad I can't show You here my "offering" Pt. murinus and my "hiding" H. albostriatum! That would not fit in this thread. :D

Hysterocratre gigas

Pretty big girl, very interesting species but a pet hole ... pretty big attitude, nothing too bad ... you wont get trouble if you dont searsh them ( imo its the case for EVERY species )

Very nice. I love ours. Constantly digging and rearranging her home. Kind of like "Bob the builder" lol We dig her up and with seconds....BAM she's gone back down and hiss!!! WOW are they loud when they hiss. These are a must T in my opinion to own.

yes their hissing is very funny, they got their attitude ;) I would suggest it to someone who has more then 5 ts ... if not you might think the Gigas is boring, but if you got somthing else to look at, then you will "forget" the gigas when it is in a pet hole mood (instead of taking her out of her burrow, wich is not good imo, plus destroying the burrow it is stressing the T)

but if you got something else to look at you wont want to get out the gigas, you will enjoy when it is out

Beautiful spider. I love african Ts, so this is on my to-get-list for sure.
