the other is a P. regalis. She is my oldest tarantula, just over ten years.

Shes purty!!! I wanna see the pictures after that one where she bites you and you fall to the ground in a wave of muscle spazms and agony ;) :D

My girl is very mellow, she has never threatened me, even when I took her eggsack from her. She just tried to hide.

Your a braver human than I!! Of course, I dont hold any of mine.. I have a bite phobia.. UGH I hate being bitten.

Are These Arboreal Or Terrestrial They Look Arboreal. Id Quite Like To Get One Of These But Im Not To Good With Nw Arboreals For Some Reason Let Alone Fast And Aggressive Ow's. If It Was Terrestrial Maybe That Would Twist My Arm Into Buying 1

She's more nervous than anything. She decideds when its time to go back in her cage by dropping her fangs. As long as you heed their warnings; bites while handling don't occur all that often. At least from my experience.

Old Hag: That's probably a good phobia to have. I don't think any one likes to be bitten. It just kinda happens. I accept the fact I could get bitten and the results of that bite too.

taorchard1987: These are beautiful T's and a bit more aggressive. Do your research on them. Don't let previous bad experiences with arboreals stop you from getting another one. Just research anything and everything you can on H. Maculata. Make sure you're prepared for a fast and aggressive T. Like I said My H. Maculata is one of my favs. in my "collection". She's also one of the most defensive too.

Glad to see yall enjoyed the pic.
