What are your guys' favourite Ts and why?

Mine probably has to be the P.metallica, currently have 2 of these guys, a female and (probably) a male. The whole Poecilotheria genus is amazing and full of beautiful T's!
Got some photos of them that I'm going to attach here :)

Thete are so many nice tarantulas so i cant choose. It comes and goes. For many years i was very "into" Xenesthis genus, and breeding those, without any sucess, i must add, and one period i was breeding Pterinochilus and Ceratogyrus and liked those. But i have always loved the Phormictopus genus and the Tapinauchenius genus so i say some speicies from those 2 genus, but as said, there are many nice speicies

My favorite tarantula is whichever one I am looking at in any given moment. I love all of my spiders so much <3

But if I had to pick just one desert island species, I think I'd have a hard time choosing between the Homoeomma chilensis and the Acanthoscurria geniculata, both for its personality. And those personalities are wildly different.

G. pulchra, black velvety goodness.
Yess, I love them too! Amazing T's, it's just sad that an L3/4 sling costs 120zł

A. genics are beautiful too, thought about getting one but I can't have any more at the moment lol

I remember them being sold for around 50 euros/ 60 dollars in Germany. We are talking adult females here and this was 15 years ago, but those where the days!

My favorite species of all time will always be the Poecilotheria ornata. I buy one at any expo when I see one. I now have two females and one male, but I would love to get a breeding project going in the future.

I've also love the Crassicrus genus as the second favorite like the Crassicrus sp. "Guerrero" which is a hidden gem in the hobby. Just look at the leg color tones and how the leg fades from orange-pink in the front legs to black on the back legs. This picture is a freshly molted specimen, so the color fades in a bit after post-molt but still beautiful.

Lastly, I've love to mention the Theraphosa genus because all three species in this genus are beauties for sure and I would love to have another T. apophysis in the future.

I love "baboon" species. I think my favourite is the "OBT". I will really have to reserve my judgement until I keep more T's to really get to "know" them.

Right now, my favorite is my T. albo, "Spiderbro". He/she is still a sling, but that was my first, so he/she will always have a special place in my heart. All of my spiders are still slings, so that could change as they get older. My favorite that I don't own would have to be H. pulchripes, because they have an interesting blend of colors and textures to them. Close second and third is H. sp. "Colombia" and D. pentaloris.

Several years back, I would have said B. boehmei without hesitation. Recently, I've gained a newfound appreciation for B. hamorii. While not as colourful, they are just as stunning. Plus its place in the hobby as the ultimate classic tarantula places it above the rest IMO. I do believe that my hamorii will outlive the rest of my animals since she grows much, MUCH slower than the rest.

While she may be a little bit skittish, she's one of my easier Ts to work around. Unless I really annoy her, she just runs to a corner and stays put. She's gonna get the 5 Gal glass tank treatment eventually, she's easily the showpiece of my (tiny) collection.

P. cambridgei! Big, beautiful, a voracious appetite, and fluffy with some attitude mixed in! My female is probably the most active spider in my collection, and she's practically fearless. Always out looking for a meal. They're so beautiful in an understated way, and I'm always in awe of their amazing camouflage when they're up against a piece of cork bark.

I keep a decent variety of both OW and NW T's but Big Scary the stirmi has kind if become The Queen of my collection. I don't even know if she's a favorite -- just a legend, really. 😉

Wow, this thread got pretty long! I won't really answer these posts anymore, just maybe when I'm bored or something :)
