These are a few photos of the only defensive Euathlus I have kept. She does not act like most others of the genus. She used to be quite skittish but generally calm and cooprative. Now she just stands her ground and is up for a scrap.
I haven't seen her for months but she has started coming out and about again and its great to see her on show. I managed to take a couple of photos trying not to disturb her but she gave me a couple of warning shots showing fangs, so I made it a quck shoot.
0.1 Euathlus parvulus
This species is easily one of my favourite in the genus.
I've tried to find this species but haven't come across with the same actual name...positing here in hopes that someone can confirm or correct the information I have. They were labeled as Euathlus Pulcherrimaklaasi "Chocolate".
These were given to be by someone who had them for 2-3 years. I believe they were imports and not raised from slings and are between 3.5" - 4". Any help would be appreciated.
