B. albopilosum

This is one of the 0.25" B. albopilosum slings Jay Vincent was shelling out at the 2004 ATS conference... done some growing in the past year.

My smithi came out to play this morning:



Only my second time handling him. He kicked hairs twice, but nothing bad. I had a heck of a time getting him back into his enclosure though since he kept crawling the wrong way on my arms and I'm still nervous about cupping him. He molted into adult colors 9 days ago. :D

My new B. auratum

I won this in a no reserve auction about 3 weks ago.. 20 bucks plus shipping.. wasnt expecting much.. there was no pic on the auction.. but i've been wanting one for a long time.. and i figured why not.. not only did i get one, with some size.. but look at it (waiting for molt to confirm sex)

Thanks.. it got a little stressed during shipping i assume.. waiting for a molt to confirm sex, and the whole rogaine affect molting has on a spiders butt will be a nice plus too..

my B. smithi 1 molt ago lots more color now


Newly acquired B. auratum eating a cricket


i also have a B. vagans sling, a B. albopilosum sling and a B. boehmei

my new B. emilia should arrive tomorrow, i will try to get pics of as soon as i can and post them as well
