Brachypelma albopilosum

This is one of my first T's and doing very well. Likes to sit on the glass so I am considering changing the bedding.

If the substrate is damp try letting it dry out...a hide and a water dish and dry substrate is all they need...

Really nice looking. I love a nice plump spider. Even though these guys are common, I really like them. They're so fuzzy! {D Congrats!

Can anyone tell me if this T is a male or female from the picture? I thought of changing the substrate because it is mixed with Vermiculite and I think it may irriatate. Just a thought since this T is always on the glass. Funny thing, use to have a small pot that he would hide in, big ole butt sticking out but the T thought it was all hidden. Change out that pot to a bigger one and now is always on the glass. O well, thanks for any help or suggestions.

If recent changes were made to the tank it may take a few weeks for the spider to get used to its new home..

yes what mike said, but either way, very nice T! i cant wait till mine gets that big, shes only 1.25" right now, still got some growing.
