Less than cooperative 0.1 Psalmopoeus irminia joins the T room. I don't really have plans to breed the species in the future, but every collection needs one.

I snagged this absolute CHONK of an a. chalcodes sling from a local pet store today for $30. Don’t worry, I won’t be feeding him/her until a molt—should only take what? 2? 3 years? Kidding. But it’ll probably be a decade before I can find out if he/she is Monroe or Marilyn 😂

Picked everything up today. The Vittata was unfortunately out of stock when I placed my order but I was given 1.1 P hanumavilasumica as a replacement so I ended up with 2.2.0 P hanu :D

Wow that's a big booty for such a tiny chalcodes 🤣 congratulations. My sling usually takes about 6 months between moults so 🤞 your won't take that long 😊

This is my 1” 0.0.1 Acanthoscurria geniculata sling. I actually got them two weeks ago, so not exactly a new addition strictly speaking. Also not the greatest photo. The colours are off because I had turned the exposure way up prior to taking the photo (using my iPhone 6s) to avoid using the flash, only to have it go off because I forgot to disable it. But they just look so cute holding the headless mealworm I had fed!

I was in Hamm for the first time today, since I'm actually more into small events... It'll stay that way. Yes, it's huge and there are animals endlessly. Actually I wanted a boa... Well, just morphs - I don't like them! And what I liked definitely had mites on board. So I got a B. klaasi from a breeder I know and, since I've never had one from a really young age, an A. chalchodes - in 8 years I'll see if it really is one ;-)

Really reminds me of when Anihan was around that size, two molts and five months ago.....she's probably approaching 5" DLS after her recent molt, though given she's never fully shown herself since then I can't be sure.

On topic: Got three C. lividus slings recently (for just $5 per sling....got to love Ornithoctoninae prices over here). They're all unsexed, but with three I probably should get at least one female out of the lot, right?
