@Dennis Nedry think it might be another species you're thinking of. Searching "Lycosa L-" brings Leuckarti up as the first result, and there's a few articles about them. They are huge though for wolfs, dwarfing all my funnelwebs and trapdoors except my largest specimens
@animaliaadvocate216 6cm, or a bit over 2" DLS. I have seen even larger though in recent years, mostly after several days of heavy rain. 8cm, about 3" DLS is the largest Ive actually measured
