This is one of the two monocentropus Balfouri from our colony that have been actively pairing up all day. It appears similar to the second. We were told the typically have a distinct difference in appearance between males and females.
By their coloration and legginess it looks like they're both mature males, but to be certain you need to get a good view of the pedipalps - mature males will have modified pedipalps (shortened, looks like boxing gloves on the end, with a bulb and needle-like structure underneath). This is an example of an MM of a different species (I don't have pics of M. balfouri), but you can see what I'm talking about:
That's what I was thinking. If we have two, I'm sure there is a breeder who would like fresh genes in his stock. I always try to let my males procreate. It is their biological function and they Naturally have fewer years to live.
