ZILLA - My biggest female T. blondi molted!!!

Well she did it again LOL...she molted out before laying. All I can say is she is a huge girl, she gained some size with this molt. (The little bugs running around by her are Isopods if anyone is wondering LOL)

That seemed like a pretty quick molt. Unless I watched the first molt vid allot longer ago than I remember. First the crazy irminia sac, now your going to end up with a 9ft. span blondi. WTB some time with that nuclear reactor your hiding in your basement. ;P

Thank you! I think she's close if not past it but I'm positive there's bigger ones out there - just not reported yet. I believe the record is 10.2" if I recall correctly so if she gained any size at all, she should be past that but it's so hard to get any kind of accurate measurement on a live one - better to just measure the molts. But I believe the world record blondi was heavier than Zilla - just beefier...looked like a tick! LOL
I think that Fran had an 11" male (could have been a female) that he has some great pics of and I believe Zilla was related to that one, could be wrong though.

I'm beginning to wonder if she is sterile...she's been mated so many times and appears gravid but then molts out before laying a sac...last time she was mated 11 times and I saw some great insertions but still no sac.

Her last molt was in January of this year...so 9 months ago. Seems quick to me for her size but I guess she knows best. LOL

and yes, fran had a HUGE blondi. was a female, and i believe it was at a solid 11".
