Stunning in every way. Now if only I didn't choke at the thought of spending $225 for one.

I personnaly wouldn't spend more then 100 € for a spider... no spider is worth that much i think...

Spiderlings are available in europe (also rare) for minimum 30 €....

It's my favourite, and never seen such a beautifull spider... the colours u see on these pictures are natural.
I took them with a flashlight, but when this spider is seen in sunlight it gives the same purple effect...

Always makes me giggle when I see one getting its freak on with the web there. I'd love to see a video clip of that going on to see the details better. Anyone got any locations to find a clip?

i think this is the most specie which have stunning colours like these...i like there cephalothorax.....hope you will update us will some mating pictures...goodluck

yes, i know a female where i will sent him off for a loan.
And he allready has done his thing months ago, that female is growing large now...

I thought he had enough, because it is some time since he molted into an adult male. Guess he still wants more.
I heard males of X. immanis can live very long after they had there last molt...

Here a closer picture of that same male, where u can see the colours better.
