Who molted today?

My juvenile GBB molted last night after sealing herself in a burrow for a month. My new pink toe sling also molted a couple days ago, but I haven't had a chance to post about it until now.

So, it's two down and two to go.

I'll post pictures of both when my GBB emerges from her burrow. She just molted last night, so it may be a few days before she emerges from her fortress. The avic is just so cute. She's almost ready for food - her fangs are black and it's been six days - and I intend to offer her a cricket or two tomorrow.

Hopefully she will let me take that moult n get definite gender....if she hasn't destroyed it that is 😏.
Well done little one you smashed it 👏💪❤

This is weird. I tried to reply to this post and somehow it created two separate posts - the quote in one and my reply in another.

Anyways, this was my reply:

I was just debating picking up an H. Chilensis. They are such beautiful little spiders. Everything I've learned about them makes me think they are an awesome species that would be delightful to keep. I held back because I came to a realization that the four girls I have are plenty for now. I just started this in November, and I'm at almost one new spider a month since then. Since my last acquisition is a fairly rare Avic sling, I really want to focus on her care and get her through at least one molt before I get any more Ts.

Still, I really want a dwarf and H. Chilensis is high on my list, but it's pricey where I am. I was weighing it along with a D. Pentaloris female that was almost half the price. I guess I'll see what's available in the Fall, when I plan to acquire another one or two, lol.
