Looks like we're on an Aphonopelma roll! IMG_20240525_133753.jpg Mojo, Aphonopelma sp Pueblo. Molted and put on quite a bit of size, but seemingly no color. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Their same size aphonopelma neighbors all have approximate adult colors. This one seems to be determined to stay sling tan forever.

She is so dark a few days after molting, wow. Didn't expect that.
Edit: ...aaaaand she is a he, again. This is a mature male.

What is the size? I've got a male P. sp. Colombia in premolt, and I'm expecting that he'll mature when he finally does molt, but just wondering how big yours was before and after maturing. He's pretty cool looking!

He's now 3 cm in body length, or 8.5 cm DLS. Doesn't look like he gained a lot in the bulk, but definitely more leggy than before.

Thanks. That's about the size mine is. He molted today but didn't mature like I thought he would. Not complaining, though!

Today's a day for suprise molts for me. Two of my wolf spiders molted this morning, and my Aphonopelma sp diamondback molted overnight! I had thought it was still early days for this one, so I'm pleasantly suprised! IMG_20240530_143520.jpg
Most of my Aphonopelma shelf is either freshly molted or in heavy premolt. So y'all should be seeing a bunch of Aphonopelma updates here soon.

Poecilotheria metallica molted the 26th. No more deli cup for this one, a bit over 4" dls I'd say

Don't mind my black nail, I'm a Painter and it's hard to keep my hands clean 😂

I'm actually pretty surprised, my brachypelma boehmei molted April 22, and has just molted again today may 31st. This lil guy/gal is growing alot faster then I thought was possible. Alot faster then the rest of my brachypelma..

Freshly peeled Aphonopelma sp Acapulco! There is exactly one spot of mold in that enclosure, so naturally Fuego had to molt on top of it. :shifty: IMG_20240531_191756.jpg They're pushing the 3 inch mark, and have been quite consistently molting every other month since I got them in November.

Both my Orphnaecus philippinus and Omothymus violaceopes molted successfully today. My tiny Ornithoctonus costalis molted just over a week ago but finally surfaced. That is a lot of O's... 20240501220045_IMG_4856.JPG O philippinus ~2.5"
O costalis ~1" 20240425235219_IMG_4853.JPG
