I stopped updating my list ages ago, so that doesn't really work.+1, It's easier to search yourself by looking through all the members' profiles.
youre still more likely to find out what people have by checking their profile.I stopped updating my list ages ago, so that doesn't really work.
Depends on the person. You wont find out anything by looking at mine and a lot of other peoples profiles. We either don't list them or we don't update that list regularly. I know exactly which species a lot of current members are keeping by looking at this thread.youre still more likely to find out what people have by checking their profile.
Or in my case nosey.Depends on the person. You wont find out anything by looking at mine and a lot of other peoples profiles. We either don't list them or we don't update that list regularly. I know exactly which species a lot of current members are keeping by looking at this thread.
The topic of the thread isn't "What do you think the best way is to find out which Ts other people have". It's "What species do you currently have". If you're profile was up to date you could have just posted a link to it. Again, it's just people chatting and being social.
You should contribute more to the hobby, instead of fooling around on camera making videosI stopped updating my list ages ago, so that doesn't really work.
True! Next time I'll make a blank postThe topic of the thread isn't "What do you think the best way is to find out which Ts other people have". It's "What species do you currently have". If you're profile was up to date you could have just posted a link to it.
Was just trying to help out the OP if he's actually interested in knowing what people have.Depends on the person. You wont find out anything by looking at mine and a lot of other peoples profiles. Agree...its a pet peeve for me to go to someone's profile, only to find they were too lazy to list their animals.+1, It's easier to search yourself by looking through all the members' profiles.
No, but that adorable pug will do the trick nicelyYeah, I don't expect to get friends from lists like these, but it's nice to participate

Agreed....its part of why a profile page exists.youre still more likely to find out what people have by checking their profile.
I've had dealers look at my list and pre-pick freebies for me, including someone giving me a dwarf sized T, as they noticed I had a few dwarfs.Think about this people, when you buy a t from someone on the boards, having your list available both makes it easier to decide which kind of freebie you might want, but also which you already have. Whenever I sell to someone, I always check their profile so I know their collection, where their specific interests lie, and their experience level.
I see listing your ts as a simple courtesy to other members on the forum.
If one is looking to bond/become friends with people who have similar species, then likely not., and you would be correct. If one is simply looking for information, then looking through the directory is a far faster, and more complete method in my opinion if one accepts the profile info as true.
It depends on one's goals I think.
I know right @_@When you think you have a nice collection going until this question comes up and the hardcore keepers post what they have...

P. lugardiActually gotta edit mine cause just got a mystery box of slings with:
Avicularia minatrix (and this one is for me!)
Pterinochilus lugardi
Phormictopus cancerides
Hapalopus sp. "Colombia"
Brachypelma smithi
Nope, from H.I.T.S! I only ordered it on tuesday too, great and fast service, got 6 slings (the ones I mentioned plus an OBT but I already have one so no point mentioning it in this topic) from the £30 box.P. lugardifantastic addition. A truly underrated species.
Can I ask is box from TSS?
