The plan was to get one sling each of the species I'm interested in and then leave it to chance and keep the species that turned out female, but I've had an improbably high number turn out female, so I may have to rethink "the plan" at some point when the current slings start getting bigger. And the list of species I'm interested in keeps evolving...
Also some of these species I'd like to raise from slings again, too- I really enjoy slings.

They took the majority of 100 large locusts last week and a tub of lob worms from the bait shop (don't trust digging up own earthworms as not sure where they have been).

Strangely, I do not have a feeder colony but that changes next week when a dubia colony is on its way. As you rightly point out, they take some feeding! Ha ha

For reference, mine is ~$10 a month for 150± specimens and that's just for the roach chow for both lat and dubia colonies. Just imagine all the spiders you could've purchased if you took the dive sooner lol........
