Looking to expand my collection some and looking for inspiration on species I may be overlooking.
Currently have H.silenus, H.longimanus, H.hottentotta x2, P.orchraceus, A.australis, A.bicolor,, C.margaritatis, C.gracilis, T.stigmurus, LQ, and 2 N.whitei

What do you guys consider to be ones you will always keep? Emps and H.franzwerneri are on my list. What else should I keep?

Get some more US natives dude. Anuroctonus, Paravaejovis, Paruroctonus, Smeringurus, Superstitionia, and Diplocentrus all have a lot of good stuff to offer. I especially like

Paruroctonus silvestrii
Anuroctonus pococki (phaiodactylus has the same personality theyre just a bit smaller)
Paravaejovis spinigerus
Superstitionia donensis
Smeringurus mesaensis

P. imperator and H. arizonensis. The two I started my collection with in the very beginning.

Probably the scorpio marus palmatus, The burrows they dig are no short of amazing and when you do see them it's a special treat as you probably see them 10% of the whole time you have them if you have their setup right

I thought real Gigantometrus weren't available in the hobby almost at all. Where are you from that you are getting them??

Got my original group from Galapaheros here on the boards some years ago. He had been producing them for quite a while, you can look back into the archives

Parabuthus and Androctonus are special to me too. Also Leirurus.
I'm a big fan of Hottentotta franzwerneri and Hottentotta tamulus for their colors. Which androctonus? Australis? Bicolor? Crassicauda? We had one shipment of Maroccanus, Mauritanicus, and lillovillae and I regret not grabbing one or 2

- Heteroctenus junceus stunning, easy to care for, group possible, just an all around cool scorp, decent size
- P. imperator, no mather of the costs, they are just classy
- Gigantometrus swammerdami, more active than p. imp
- C. nitidus smaller size but cool, beautiful and on the easy side (unlike the tityus, which are indeed beautiful but potentially dangerous)

Those were also the first i got back after rejoining the hobby. Must have to me.

I also would wish for a hadogenes troglodytes but they are almost extinct in the EU

And also worth to mention are fat tails, Androctonus sp. are very cool and active, fast.
