All of these names are after something/someone or mean something specific:

L. parahybana - Shelob (she's about 12 years old now)
A. calchodes - I just got this one a couple weeks ago and still not sure yet! It's a juvenile and dunno what sex it is. Personality is the sweetest most gentle T I've ever met and a good eater. A unisex name would be great! All ideas welcome and thank you in advance!

Names of various species I used to have, but had to re-home(long story):
Anansi (G. rosea),
Valentina G. rosea),
Rosie (G. rosea in my profile picture),
Teeny (G. rosea),
Karna (C. darlingi),
Jetta (H. minax),
Jamila (A. avicularia),
Pele (B. hamorii),
Ramses (P. murinus),
Dalonige (T. blondi),
Stripe (D. fasciatus),
Curly (B. albopilosum),
Jarah (A. seemanni),
Arawn (P. muticus),
Red (B. boehmei),
Ciara (G. pulchera).
I also had 2 Pandinus imperator scorpions called Reth and Isis.

P.S. Apologies for any typos!

I tend to name my T.'s based off games, comic books, or Japanese words/anime characters in general. But I really try to avoid common names or specific names. Here's a story in short why I try to be careful with names now compared to back then.
Me- Here's my T. collection, don't freak out homie.
Friend- Wow, that's scary.:anxious:
Me- Yep, I name them too. :D
Friend- What's this ones name??o_O
Me- That's a female, I named her ******* (Not mentioning names).
Friend- ............ Really? :(:arghh:
Me- What's up??o_O
Friend- That's my ex-girlfriends name....
Me- :eek::eek: (silent awkwardness).....

The G. rosea that I'm getting this week will be re-christened (her name is Rosie right now :shifty:) Winnie, as in "Wide-mouth Winnie" from the John Entwistle song Peg Leg Peggy. Can we all tell that I like John Entwistle?
