I apologize if this has been posted before, but I could not find anything after searching. Here is a chance to brag about your collection. What is the rarest tarantula species you own and how did you come by it?

I'll start. Mine is eucratoscelus constrictus. I have about a two-inch unsexed juvenile that I got early this year. I came across it on a Facebook group post. A guy who apparently has some connection to a store or something said they got ten slings on an import. Nine of them died and he was selling the last one as part of selling off a large portion of his collection. I was pretty surprised it was there. As a baboon enthusiast, I jumped at the opportunity to add a species I had never seen for sale before. I am hoping it turns out to be female, not that it matters much. I do not know of any others from the species in the hobby. It was kind of a fluke that I found this one.

I don't have any super rare ones, but these are the ones I have that are kind of rare:

Rarest - 1.1 Euathlus sp. “Hermosa”

Rarest in my area -
1) 0.1 Ceratogyrus meridionalis (Bought, will be shipped next spring)
2) 0.1.3 Chilobrachys liboensis
3) 0.1 Taksinus bambus

Somewhat rare -
1) 0.0.1 Hapalopus sp. “Guerilla”
2) 0.1 Ornithoctoniae sp. "Bakan"
3) 0.1 Selenocosmia kovariki

I was given the chance to get a Antikuna sp. "Círculo de Fuego" and a couple other VERY rare highland species but turned them down since I can't find a way to keep temps under 20C year-round.

I would say Ornithoctoninae sp HCM DCF or Ornithoctoninae sp Vietnam Silver, but thankfully they've recently become more available. I'd probably have to go with the proven MF Phormingochilus sp Akcaya and the proven Phormingochilus sp Sabah Blue in my collection. Some people have them here, few people have adult females, and even fewer have females that have successfully reproduced.

Crassicrus sp. "Guerrero"
Males don't exist and there's no imports on them. There are some Crassicrus lamanai that are WC imported once in a very long while when Mexico imports/exports are open. But other than that, I'm stuck with what I have. Who knows? Maybe C sp. Guerrero could just be the same or something different as C. lamanai.

Ornithoctoninae sp HCM DCF
Can someone explain what the exact differences are for the Ornithoctoninae sp. Ho Chi Minh and Ornithoctoninae sp. Ho Chi Minh "DCF"? is it really a dark color form or another locale? They're both the same looking to me when I saw them in-person. Just like some of the other Ornithoctoninae species that tend to follow this trend. Cool looking tarantula though, they look like the O. sp hati hati, but an obligate burrower version.

I'll DM you to talk about it as I only have second hand information that I've been trying to corroborate. If it's false, I don't want to be openly spreading it around.

nothing super rare, probably my A. bieoloratum and P. vittata are the 2 I see on the market the least
My 3 A. steindachneris are kind of rare but the first batch of slings produced in captivity just hit the market

Get yours as a sling? If so size sling, and growth rate? Temps food fed etc
No, she was 2" when I got her (about 5 years ago), probably around 4" now (give or take), currently going around a year or so between moults, temps between 21°C - 27°C most of the year with highs in the 30's over summer, currently feeding once every 4 weeks.

Maybe my Hapalopus sp. Klein? Don’t see them often but not sure if considered rare.
