Hell no. I am NEVER watching that. How dare you 😱
After watching it I did think I had a moth in my ear. Don’t watch it and that dragonfly clip is cool I’ve never heard of it before lol now I’m going to try it!!!

Out of the box here, but TECHNICALLY still correct given the question's phrasing with the use of the word invertebrate.

Any of the Hapalochlaena spp aka the blue ring octopuses. Imagine finding one crawling on you and then having to wonder for the next 10 minutes if you're going to die or not.

You can't feel their bite, there is no anti venom if you were to get bitten, and unless you can get intubated fast in a hospital setting, what awaits is a slow death of asphyxiation as your mind is paralyzed in your body, unable to move, unable to talk, unable to breathe......

You find or make one of those huge pond dragonflies. You glue it to a spring and pin and put it on your shoulder. In the kayak, it is life saving.

i use it and so does my family who live in wild unsprayed humid boreal Forests.

Sometimes i use the Off because i have no choice. But i am allergic to deet. I put it on my clothes, which ages it quickly. Sometimes there is no other choice.

when i wen’t to Costa Rica. I was so covered in allergic hives… i wore pants and sweaters the entire stay. It was wet, humid and stuffy.

the only relief was in the ocean. I can’t even wear sunscreen. Thank the gods for rashguards.
I still don’t understand how a fake dragonfly is “life saving”

How was CR, what part/s did you go to, what month did you go, been thinking about it. You can PM me.

Horse fly deterent? Gotta admit, I hate that group of flies as well. I'm not so much terrified as enraged by them though.

Or maybe he's talking about fish bait...pre "pinned"

I could never catch huge pond dragonflies. They were too fast.

Large Oceanic Invertebrates
A Pack of Humboldt Squid Dragging Prey Down to the Abyss.
Or The Rarely Seen "Giant Squid" would be a True Night Terror.

the tiny white thread like thing between the two rocks. Some kind of parasitic worm. Like the ones in videos where people put a praying mantis in water and it comes out of the abdomen.

i go on vacation to the ocean just to collect rocks and wood. Nothing better then a day walking the shores and coming back with a full bag.
