Yes, you saw the title right.

This thread is dedicated for the pictures of your tarantulas’ failed usage of the water dishes.

Such as this:

I cleaned and filled the water dish yesterday, and this is what I get for it.

Bulldozer (Grammostola pulchra) has spent the last week undermining her water dish. I'm waiting for it to collapse and spill.

Genicula (Acanthoscurria geniculata) fell into his water dish after yanking the ribbon away from Bulldozer (in an adjacent cage).

One water dish is full of clean water. The other is full of substrate tea laced with webbing. Which is more refreshing?

To conceal the evidence of pooping in her water dish, Bulldozer (Grammostola pulchra) dragged her leaf "rug" into her water dish, piled substrate onto the leaf, dragged her rubber mat next to the dish, and built a mountain.

Phormictopus sp. Purple with her absolutely disgusting water dish (tons of poop, two boluses).

How about I clean that for you?

Expectation: I'm going to put a water dish right up near the top of the enclosure so my versicolor can use it very easily. And it will!

Reality: 1554650581352-1348371291.jpg
She webbed it up in case my photo is too terrible.

"What water dish? There never was a water dish. I didn't bury anything."
