Well that's good to hear!!! On AA, you were pretty bummed about it, and talking about quitting breeding. My heart sank when I read that, but reading that you're gearing up for another round is a great relief. Your wisdom and experience are truly needed in this hobby.

If you refer back to your original post, you are correct, no pictures, but a video without discussion or introduction of topic.
I appreciate the fact that you take the time to make videos and detailed posts to educate other hobbyists, but it would seem to me that some of your photography/video may be invasive to the tarantulas themselves and cause some adverse reactions (for example the situation in your video). Of course I have no scientific evidence proving this, but personally, if I wanted a successful sac from such a sought after species, I would have given the female a bit more privacy and not invaded her space. Just my opinions.

Everybody is entittled to their own opinion, no qustions asked...But understand that not all the opinions are as valid.
Some people let the flashy stuff blind them, some others go a bit further...And for some reading certain comments is quite funny,at the very least.
I personally dont care who says what, but the arguments and facts beneath, and I think xhexdx is the same way.

I have never claimed to know everything, no one can sat=y that.....there is a lot to be learned!! I like to document things you ordinarily wouldn't see....I do it to share it with others. I will say you are good at one thing, HIJACKING other peoples threads!!

I'm not trying to get nasty here, but please hear me out-
You said you did a single video of her, but she was never disturbed. To me, being in close enough proximity to record the making/completion of the sac would constitute a disturbance. I realize that you did not record her mating, but I also think that were you to have attempted to record the mating, it would not have been successful to the point of a resulting sac, but once again, my statements about disturbance are merely conjecture at this point. My original idea was that I would not be willing to risk the consequences that could result from a situation that may be disturbing to the specimen. I also understand the excitement of having a female with a sac (although none as potentially valuable/rare as P. metallica), but I still find value in producing healthy, viable offspring, regardless of species. I have taken pictures of females with their sacs, so I admit to some intrusive behavior, but it was quite brief, and very minimally invasive. I have been unable to get pictures that were 'decent' because I was not willing to risk aggravating the female and potentially initiate problems.
