what is better for ventilation in acrylic cages, those round vents or holes?
IMO, vents... YET how can you go wrong with holes? They're both quite effective; Its just that one vent is the equivalent to how many holes?what is better for ventilation in acrylic cages, those round vents or holes?
I like the bolded in Bills answer teh best!I tried holes before, and I didn't really like it. I love vents!! So much easier! I cannot for the life of me get holes to look amazing. Mine always look burnt, uneven, and just simply unpleasant. Vents are MUCH MUCH easier for me. All I do is cut out a hole with a razor, get some screening, and hot glue it over the hole. the end product is amazing, I'll try to upload pictures. If you don't want it to dry out your enclosure quickly, make the vent smaller. I have the vents large on my Avics because I rather give them plenty of ventilation and frequent misting.
You're quite mad uno?I like to use holes because I like to photograph a lot and so I run lines of holes along the corners. This gives me a great unobstructed view and cross ventilation.
