Treating myself!

Since my girlfriend and I split up (), I no longer have to limit my spiders. I've decided to splurge and treat myself for Christmas/New Years. Still deciding what I will get but I'm definitely getting the numero uno on my list, a GBB. I also might get a G. pulchra and a P. cambridgei. I also really want a C. schioedtei but I'll be damned if I can find any for sale.

The only reason my collection is limited right now is due to finances, but as soon as I get some extra $, Im treating myself too. Got my eye on a goregous juvie B.smithi right now.

I disagree. Id rather have a P Metallica than any woman. But i know what your saying. Sometimes if you get too carried away you find out you dont have any enclosures for them, Or any food LOL

Have fun trying to teach that P.Metallica to make you a sandwich,grab a beer,or clean the bathroom..... But anyways,I recently got out of cars,and sold mine.(was my main hobby)I took 1k and went on a spree with the wife in our two favorite LPS.Needless to say I now have more T's than I need.But damn was blowing that cash fun.Picked up a few T's that I have wanted for years.(A.Metallica's)

Thank you, Shelley! I'm the reason Mackenzie didn't stick with only 5 T's, so not all girlfriends are overrated and don't like spiders.

I say you REALLY splurge and get like at least 10 more T's.

I just recently started keeping again with a GBB. One of my favorites!! This time, I'm going to TRY to limit myself. When I used to keep before, I ended up with over 100 spiders and a few eggsacks, lol. We'll see how it goes. I'm TRYING to get it down to a select few species but I'm having a hard time narrowing it down!! G. pulchra and P. regalis are both great too. Those three give you a very diverse collection.

I see you had a spider named Pandora. My first P. lugardi was named Pandora too!!

Oh man, 10 Ts I would love but I just don't have the space. I'm looking at my apartment now to see how I might better display 4 or 5 Ts. And of course, money is always an issue.

Pandora was a sweetie, I'll definitely miss her. How is your lugardi? I like their looks (as well as chordatus) but not sure how secretive or active they are.

I'm still torn trying to decide between irminia or cambridgei. And I have NO brachys, I might have to pick up an emilia or vagans. Sigh, too many Ts

I was in the same boat as you in deciding between those two, and then I lucked out and got a P. irminia for free, and that has satiated my need for one or the other @ least now. P. irminia is very striking in person. It looks like its patterns are airbrushed, they're so neat.

I vote for the irminia. But I'm biased because I don't have a cambridgei yet. However, I do find the colors of the irminia more striking, the orange on the black is stunning.
